4.1 Information You Provide

Collected when you:

• Create an account (directly or via Google OAuth or Apple Sign In)
• Request Scopa Coin redemption payouts
• Contact support

If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from the identity provider. We do not receive or store your Google or Apple password. Google's and Apple's own privacy policies govern their handling of your data during the authentication process.

4.2 Automatic Collection

Collected via cookies, logs, and extension functionality:

• Site compatibility checks
• Coupon testing results
• Purchase confirmation status
• Shopping cart contents on supported sites
• Feature interaction data (e.g., which Scopa features you use)

4.3 Third-Party Financial Data (Plaid)

If you choose to connect a bank account, we access financial data through Plaid, Inc.:

• Bank account names, types, and balances
• Credit card details (last 4 digits, balances, credit limits, APR)
• Transaction history (merchant names, amounts, categories)

We never receive or store your banking login credentials. Plaid handles authentication directly. Plaid's privacy policy governs their data handling practices.

5. Browser Extension Data Use (Compliance-Critical)

The Scopa browser extension:

• Operates only on supported shopping websites
• Reads only limited data required to provide discounts, coupon testing, and Cash Back attribution
• Does not read emails, messages, forms, passwords, or unrelated content
• Does not record keystrokes or browsing history outside supported sites
• Does not engage in cross-site tracking. We do not track your activity across websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes. Browsing data collected on supported shopping sites is used solely to provide Scopa's coupon, price comparison, and rewards features.

On supported sites, we may process:

• Page URL
• Product identifiers (non-personal)
• Displayed prices
• Coupon success/failure results
• Order confirmation signals
• Shopping cart contents (product names, prices, quantities)
• Purchase confirmation details (order number, estimated total)

On unsupported sites:

• URL is checked only to determine compatibility
• No account linkage or retention occurs

7. Sweepstakes Data: Separate & Independent

Any sweepstakes, giveaways, or prize promotions accessible through Scopa are NOT operated by Scopa Deals Inc.

• Sweepstakes are operated independently by RealTime Media LLC
• Sweepstakes are governed by separate Sweepstakes Terms & Conditions
• Sweepstakes data is collected, processed, and stored solely by RealTime Media LLC

Scopa:

• Does not control Sweepstakes data
• Does not determine winners or distribute prizes
• Does not share Scopa user data with Sweepstakes unless explicitly disclosed

Participation in Sweepstakes is optional and separate from Scopa's Services.

8. Data Sharing & Disclosure

8.1 No Sale of Personal Data

Scopa does not sell personal information under CCPA, CPRA, or DPDPA definitions.

8.2 Limited Disclosures

9. Subscription & Payment Terms

9.1 Billing and Payments

Scopa uses a third-party payment processor to handle all subscription payments. Payment is charged at the time of purchase. Our payment provider is PCI-compliant, and we do not store your credit card information. All prices include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

9.2 Auto-Renewal Terms

Monthly subscriptions automatically renew every 30 days. Your payment method will be charged within 24 hours of your subscription expiration. You can manage your subscription through your User Dashboard or via the link provided in your subscription confirmation email.

9.3 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, please cancel at least 72 hours before your renewal date. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current paid period.

9.4 Refund Policy

All sales are final. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. To request a refund, please contact support@scopadeals.com.

9.5 Free Trials

Scopa offers a 60-day free trial for new users. At the end of the trial period, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled. Only one free trial is permitted per user.

10. CCPA / CPRA Consumer Rights (California)

California residents have the right to:

• Know what data we collect and why
• Access personal information
• Request deletion
• Correct inaccurate information
• Limit use of sensitive data
• Opt out of "sharing" (even though we do not sell)
• Not be discriminated against

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required.

11. Delaware Privacy Rights (DPDPA)

Delaware residents may:

• Confirm processing of personal data
• Access and obtain a copy
• Delete personal data
• Correct inaccuracies
• Opt out of targeted advertising (if applicable)

No system is 100% secure, but safeguards are commercially reasonable.

13. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to:

Data is deleted or anonymized when no longer required.

14. Automated Processing & Shopping Insights

We use automated processing to generate a Savings Score based on your coupon usage, savings history, shopping activity, and profile completeness. This score is displayed to you within the extension to help you track your shopping efficiency.

We may also use artificial intelligence to analyze your shopping patterns and financial data to provide personalized insights and recommendations within the Services.

15. Children's Privacy

Scopa is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@scopadeals.com and we will promptly delete such information.

If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible.

16. How to Exercise Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To submit a request:

• Email us at support@scopadeals.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" (or "Data Deletion Request" for deletions)
• Include the email address associated with your Scopa account and specify the type of request (access, correction, or deletion)
• We will verify your identity and process your request within 45 days
• If we need additional time, we will notify you of the reason and extension period (up to an additional 45 days)

Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will:

• Delete your account and personal information from our active systems
• Direct our service providers to delete your data
• Retain only information required for legal compliance or legitimate business purposes

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as email notification or a notice within the Services).

Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.

Your personal data is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to the U.S. where our servers are located. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States.
